This is the agro shade net we supply in beige and brown, and the natural tones are what make it work across both jobs it is bought for: laid over a bed or a nursery row it reads as part of the planting rather than a sheet of plastic on the ground, and hung on a balcony or a deck rail it sits with timber instead of standing out from it. It is the same knitted HDPE as the coloured grades, with UV resistance in the yarn, dense enough to take the hard edge off the sun and open enough that air still moves through.
An agro shade net is usually bought for a bed, a nursery row or a drying area, and the colour matters more than it sounds: a beige or brown net reads as part of the planting rather than a sheet laid over it, and the same cloth hung on a balcony rail sits with timber instead of drawing the eye. This is the net we supply in those two tones.

The cloth is knitted HDPE with UV resistance in the yarn, so a beige or brown cover does not go patchy across a season in the open the way a surface-printed fabric can, and the tone holds rather than washing toward grey. The weave is open enough that air still moves through the cover, which is what makes the same grade suitable over a growing bed as well as over a balcony: plants underneath get filtered light rather than a sealed lid, and a screened balcony stays usable instead of baking.

The net goes over a garden bed, along a nursery row, across a balcony rail and around a deck edge, and because it is cut to the height you give us, one order covers a bed and a deck from the same cloth. Households setting trays under the same net often pair it with a planting bag, and the wider shade net range covers the reflective grades where a heat reflective cover is wanted instead.

Held against the light the knit shows two yarn directions crossing at a close pitch, which is what filters the sun without sealing the air off, and it is the same structure whether the roll is going over a bed or a balcony rail. Where the net is tied rather than laid, the eyelets are set into a bound edge so it can be pulled tight without the weave tearing out. A knitted monofilament net covers the shading job where a finer weave is wanted, while this net covers the bed and balcony shade work.

Height, roll length, shade rate and colour are all made to order, so the first detail to confirm is the span you are covering and what is growing underneath. Net ships in PP woven bags. Buyers tracking how agro shade net performs across a season can follow trade coverage such as HortiDaily and FreshPlaza for what is being installed.
Is the same net used for beds and balconies?
Yes. It filters the sun while letting air move through, which is what a bed and a balcony rail both need, and it is cut to whichever height the job requires.
Will a beige or brown net fade?
The colour is dyed into the HDPE yarn along with the UV stabiliser rather than printed on the surface, so the tone holds better than a coated fabric.
Can I order other colours?
Yes. Beige and brown are standard and other shades, including striped finishes, are made to order.
Tell us the span you are covering, what is growing underneath and the colour you are working to, and we will confirm the roll and the packing that suit your order.
