Knitted HDPE Balcony Shade Net with Privacy Screen Design for Tower Blocks

Product Attributes :

This is the balcony shade net we supply with the stripe treated as a design rather than a colour choice, and on a tower block that distinction shows: a plain cover on a row of balconies reads as netting tied on, while a stripe laid to the line of the rail reads as a screen that belongs to the building. The cloth is knitted HDPE with UV resistance in the yarn, cut per balcony, and supplied with zip ties. Air still moves through it, so a screened balcony does not become a sealed box.

Product Description

On a single balcony any cover will do the job. On a tower block the cover becomes part of the elevation, and that is where the stripe stops being a colour choice and starts being a design: laid to the line of the rail it reads as a screen that belongs to the building, where a plain net reads as something tied on afterwards.

The Stripe Is the Design

The stripe runs along the length of the panel rather than across it, which is what keeps it parallel to the rail and makes a row of balconies look like one installation instead of several. It also hides the join: two panels tied side by side with the stripes lined up read as a single screen, while a plain cover shows every seam. Because the cloth is knitted HDPE with UV resistance in the yarn, the contrast between the stripe and the ground holds across a season rather than washing toward one tone, and the open weave keeps air moving so the balconies behind are screened rather than sealed.

Tower Blocks, Balcony Windows and Terraces

The net goes on balcony rails across a block, over balcony windows, along shared terraces and around rooftop areas, and because it is cut per opening rather than supplied in one stock size, a run of balconies of different widths still comes from the same cloth in the same stripe. Households screening a bed behind the same net often pair it with a planting bag, and the wider shade net range covers the reflective grades where a heat reflective cover is wanted instead.

Zip Ties and the Fixing

Zip ties are supplied with the order because on a balcony rail they are usually the fastest fixing and the one a resident can do without tools, and because they can be cut and the screen re-tied when a rail has to be accessed. Where the screen will be tensioned hard instead, a bound edge with eyelets can be specified and the panel laced. A knitted monofilament net covers the shading job where a finer weave is wanted, while this net covers the balcony privacy and shade work.

Sizes, Packing and Order Detail

Size, shade rate, colour and edge finish are all made to order, so the first detail to confirm is the number of openings and the height and run of each. Nets ship in PP woven bags and are palletised for block orders. Buyers tracking how balcony screening performs can follow trade coverage such as HortiDaily and FreshPlaza for what is being installed.

Frequently Asked Questions

Can a run of different balcony widths come from one order?
Yes. Each opening is cut to its own size from the same cloth and the same stripe, so the block still looks consistent.

Will the stripe line up between panels?
The stripe runs the length of the panel, so panels tied side by side line up along the rail rather than showing a break at the seam.

Can I order a different height, run or colour?
Yes. Size, shade rate, colour and edge finish are all made to order. Tell us the openings involved and we will advise.

Tell us how many openings are involved and the height and run of each, and the colour you are working to, and we will confirm the order and the packing that suit your project.
