Not every bag in a programme needs handles. A bag that stays on a bench or a pallet never gets lifted by hand, and a handle is wasted material on it. This one is supplied in three configurations: none for bench and pallet use, a double handle where two people move a full bag, and a reinforced handle for lifting a loaded bag by hand. Underneath is the same heavy duty felt, highly tear resistant, so the configuration changes the fittings rather than the bag.
Not every bag in a programme needs handles. A bag that stays on a bench or a pallet never gets lifted by hand, and a handle is wasted material and wasted cost on it.

The bag is supplied with no handle for bench and pallet work, with a double handle where two people move a full bag between benches, or with a reinforced handle for lifting a loaded bag by hand out of a house. The body is the same in all three: a heavy duty felt that is highly tear resistant, so what changes is the fitting rather than the bag, and a grower can specify the mix within one order instead of buying a single configuration for the whole site.

Onions, spinach, tomatoes, strawberries and flowering plants all run in the same felt. The unhandled configuration suits a bag that is filled and left in place, the double handle suits the middle sizes moved between benches, and the reinforced handle suits the large formats lifted out of a polytunnel at the end of a crop. The wall drains and breathes at every size, so compost does not stay wet at the base. The wall system is shared across the air pruning pot range.

| Use | Vegetables, fruit and flowers |

| Form | Round |
| Configurations | No handle, double handle, or reinforced handle |
| Fabric | Highly tear resistant |
| Lifting | Reinforced handles for secure lifting |
| Colour | Black, or customised |
| Packing | Bag, pallet or carton |

The double handle is a pair of anchors spaced so two people can take a side each, and the reinforced handle uses a wider anchor panel for a single carrier under load. In the unhandled configuration the rim is simply turned and stitched, which is what keeps the cost down on a bag that is not going to be lifted. The base is finished flat and stitched in all three. Tree formats sit with the tree and nursery container range.

Tell us which sizes, handle configurations and quantities your programme runs, since the fittings are assembled to order and a printed logo can be added on programme quantities. Orders ship in bags, on pallets or in cartons, and the flat bag stores in a fraction of the space a stack of rigid pots takes. The wider soft container range sits in the planting bag range. Container and growing media supply is covered at HortiDaily and FreshPlaza.
Can we order different handle configurations in one order?
Yes. The three configurations share the same body, so a programme can specify a mix across the sizes it needs.
Which configuration should we choose?
No handle for bench and pallet work, double handle for sizes moved by two people, and the reinforced handle for large formats lifted by hand.
How are bulk orders packed?
In bags, on pallets or in cartons, with mixed sizes and configurations combined in one load.

Tell us the sizes, configurations and quantities your programme needs, and we will come back with the packing plan, sample and lead time.
