Black Nonwoven Grow Bag with PP Handle and Fold-Flat Storage for Indoor Use

Indoor growing has a storage problem as much as a growing one. A pot that is not in use takes up shelf space all year, and rigid plastic is unforgiving once it is scratched. This one is felt, so it folds flat and goes in a drawer between crops. The handle is rigid PP rather than webbing, which holds its shape and does not crease when the bag is carried wet. The wall breathes and drains, so herbs and foliage plants indoors are not sitting in compost that never dries out.

Product Description

Indoor growing has a storage problem as much as a growing one. A pot that is not in use takes up shelf space all year, and rigid plastic does not forgive being stacked.

Folds flat when the crop is over

The whole bag folds down flat, so a set of them goes in a drawer or a box between crops instead of occupying a shelf. That is the argument for felt indoors, where space is the constraint rather than weather. The wall breathes and drains at the same time, so compost in a warm room does not stay wet and sour, and roots meet air at the face instead of winding round the base. The handle is rigid PP rather than webbing, so it keeps its shape and does not crease when the bag is picked up wet.

5 litre and up, indoors or on a balcony

The format starts at 1 gallon, or about 5 litre, which suits herbs and foliage plants on a windowsill or a shelf, and the same wall runs larger volumes for tomatoes and vegetables when the bag moves outside. Green and black are standard with customised logo printing on programme orders. The wall system is shared across the air pruning pot range.

Handles, width and lifting

The PP handle is stitched into a reinforced panel rather than hung on a single seam, so a full bag can be carried by the handle without the anchor pulling through the felt. Because the handle is rigid it also stands clear of the wall when the bag is empty, which makes it easier to pick up off a shelf. The base is finished flat so the bag stands level while it is filled. Smaller propagation formats sit alongside in the seedling and propagation range.

Sizes, Packing and Order Detail

Tell us the diameters, volumes and colours your programme works to, since the range is built to order and a printed logo can be added on programme quantities. Orders ship in bags, on pallets or in cartons, and the flat bag stores in a fraction of the space a stack of rigid pots takes. The wider soft container range sits in the planting bag range. Container and growing media supply is covered at HortiDaily and FreshPlaza.

Frequently asked questions

How small does it pack down?
The bag folds flat, so a set of them stores in a drawer or a box between crops rather than occupying shelf space.

Does the PP handle take a full load?
It is stitched into a reinforced panel rather than hung on one seam, so the pull spreads into the felt instead of resting on a single line of thread.

How are bulk orders packed?
In bags, on pallets or in cartons, with mixed sizes and colours combined in one load.
