This is the green shade netting we supply for gardens and pool surrounds, and it goes out in two forms because the job decides which one is wanted: a roll for running out over a bed, a frame or a fence line, and a finished cover with a stitched hem and eyelets for tying straight down over a span. The green is a dyed yarn with UV resistance worked in, so the colour and the shade rate both hold across a season in the open, and the mesh stays open so air moves under the cover and rain reaches the ground. Sizes are made to order.
Shade for a garden or a pool surround is wanted in two forms, and this range covers both. Where the cover has to be run out over a bed, a frame or a fence line, a roll of green net does the job. Where it has to be tied down over a span, a finished cover with a stitched hem and eyelets is the quicker answer, and it arrives ready to go up.

The choice comes down to how the cover is fixed. A roll is right for a long run that will be weighted or wired down along a bed or a fence, because it can be cut to length on site. A finished cover is right where the span has corners to tie to, since the hem is stitched and the eyelets are already set. Both are the same green HDPE mesh with UV resistance in the yarn, so the shade rate holds across a season either way, and the weave stays open enough for air to move and rain to pass.

The net goes over garden beds, a pool surround, a seating area, a fence line and a balcony, and because it is sold by the roll and as a finished cover, one order can cover an open bed and a cornered span. Growers covering beds under the same net often pair it with a planting bag, and the wider shade net range covers the reflective and heavy grades where a different cover is wanted.

The green is dyed into the yarn rather than printed on the surface, which is what keeps the colour from washing out after a season in full sun. On the finished covers the hem is turned and stitched and the eyelets are set in metal, so the cover can be strained on a fence post or a frame without the weave pulling open. A knitted monofilament net covers the same idea where a finer weave is wanted, while this range covers the garden and pool job.

Width, length, shade rate and colour are all made to order, so the first detail to confirm is the span you are covering and whether it will be run out as a roll or tied down as a finished cover. Goods ship in export packing. Buyers tracking how shade netting performs across a season can follow trade coverage such as HortiDaily and FreshPlaza for what is being installed.
Should I take the roll or the finished cover?
A roll where the cover is run out along a bed or a fence and cut on site. A finished cover where the span has corners to tie to, since the hem and eyelets are already done.
Does water pass through?
Yes. It is a knitted HDPE mesh rather than a solid sheet, so rain reaches the ground and air moves under the cover. Where a cover has to shed water, a polyester sail is the better fit.
Can I order a different size, rate or colour?
Yes. Width, length, shade rate and colour are all made to order. Tell us the span and what you are covering and we will advise.
Tell us the span, the shade rate and whether you want a roll or a finished cover, and we will confirm the size and the packing that suit your order.
